The Explosion-proof Valve Positioner is designed for pneumatic control valve automation in hazardous industrial areas. It receives the control signal from the control system and adjusts the air output to the pneumatic actuator, helping the valve reach the required opening position accurately.
This AVP8700 explosion-proof valve positioner is suitable for linear stroke and rotary stroke pneumatic actuators, including single-acting and double-acting actuator configurations. It can be used on pneumatic control valves, pneumatic ball valves, pneumatic butterfly valves, and other automated valve packages.
The positioner supports optional HART communication, 4–20mA valve position transmitter output, dual electronic switch output, and pressure gauge assembly options. Explosion-proof versions are available for gas and dust hazardous areas, making it suitable for oil and gas, chemical, power, water treatment, and other process industries.

Suitable for Linear and Rotary Actuators
