Product Overview

The Slab Gate Valve is a through-conduit valve designed for reliable isolation in oil, gas, and pipeline systems. Its solid, single-piece gate ensures tight sealing with minimal pressure drop, making it ideal for long-distance and high-pressure applications. With a full-bore design, it allows pigging operations and reduces flow turbulence. The valve features metal-to-metal or soft sealing, optional grease injection, and is available in both rising and non-rising stem configurations. Engineered for durability, it offers excellent performance in critical service environments.

Product Features

  • This valve is an enhanced design based on advanced flat plate gate valve technology. It offers significant improvements in structure, sealing reliability, and ease of maintenance.
  • The valve seat and damper plate undergo special precision machining. With the support of hard alloy and PTFE sealing, the valve achieves a dual-seal configuration. Optional auxiliary tail-end sealing further enhances leak prevention and extends service life.
  • This valve conforms to the JB/T standard series. The secondary sealing adopts a wedge-type structure to ensure tight sealing of the valve stem under the bonnet. Flange dimensions comply with JB/T79 standards, with optional thread-type connections available per customer request.
  • The version with a conduit (through-hole) design can accommodate pigging operations in pipelines. The version without the conduit hole is not suitable for pigging applications.
  • When internal pressure builds up in the valve body cavity, the seat is designed to automatically relieve excess pressure.
  • The valve’s transmission mechanism ensures smooth and agile operation. The required operating torque is approximately one-third to one-half of that of a conventional gate valve.
  • The pneumatic gate valve opens and closes rapidly, includes a buffer device, and avoids impact during operation. Its structure allows easy conversion between pneumatic and manual operation.
  • Operation is quick, flexible, and reliable.
  • The regulating version of the flat gate valve is ideal for use in pump stations, pipeline outlets, or other positions where flow control or isolation is required.

  • For electrically operated models, Tanggong Valve Group uses reliable domestic actuators from Yangzhou Electric Power Repair Factory or Tianjin Electric, and also supports international brands such as Rotork (IQ series), AUMA (Germany, SA series), or any electric actuator specified by the customer.
