The MacoTango High-Temperature Grease-Injection Control Valve is intended for high-temperature control duties using a grease-injection stem-sealing arrangement.
The injection provision supports the selected sealing system, but its performance depends on the packing construction and the lubricant used. Lubricant compatibility and maintenance access are part of the selection, especially where contamination of the process fluid is unacceptable.
The grease-injection connection provides access to the specified stem-sealing system. Maintenance planning should include the correct lubricant, access space and the conditions under which injection is permitted.
Consider this arrangement for hot process-fluid regulation only after the fluid, temperature cycles and acceptable packing leakage are defined. Injection pressure and maintenance procedures must follow the instructions for the supplied assembly.
