A manual knife gate valve is a cost-effective isolation valve designed for on/off control in pipelines carrying slurry, viscous fluids, or solids-laden media. Operated by a handwheel or lever, it uses a sharp-edged gate to cut through flow media and deliver reliable shut-off with low pressure loss. Manual knife gate valves are widely used in wastewater treatment, mining, pulp and paper, cement, and industrial water systems, where simple operation, durability, and easy maintenance are essential.
