Product Overview

A stainless steel wedge gate valve is designed for reliable on/off isolation in demanding industrial pipeline systems. Manufactured to recognised standards such as API 600 / API 6D, ASME B16.34, and BS standards, it offers excellent corrosion resistance, high-temperature performance, and long service life. The wedge-shaped disc ensures tight shut-off, while stainless steel body and trim materials make the valve suitable for oil & gas, chemical processing, power generation, and water treatment applications where strength, durability, and operational reliability are essential.

2Live Load PackingLive-loaded packing is designed for services with frequent cycling or high pressure and temperature fluctuations. Belleville springs maintain constant packing stress, extending service life and reducing maintenance frequency.
3Outside Screw & Yoke (OS&Y)Cast steel outside screw and yoke design with the yoke integrally cast with the bonnet. Suitable for 150Lb–8″, 300Lb–8″, 600Lb–8″, and 900Lb–4″ and smaller valves, ensuring clear stem position indication and reliable operation.
4Bonnet Connection (BB / Pressure Seal)Bolted bonnet, welded bonnet, or pressure seal bonnet options are available. Pressure seal bonnets are recommended for applications with high pressure, high temperature, or frequent cycling.
5End ConnectionsAvailable with flanged ends, RTJ flanges, or butt-weld ends to suit different piping systems and installation requirements.
6Yoke SleeveExtended yoke sleeve design provides increased thread engagement between the stem and yoke sleeve, improving load distribution and service life. Rolling bearing yokes are standard for larger sizes such as 150Lb–12″, 300Lb–10″, 600Lb–6″, and 900/1500/2500Lb–4″.
7Lantern Ring & Double PackingOptional lantern ring with leak-off connection and double packing arrangement is available for critical or hazardous services to enhance sealing reliability.
8Body-to-Bonnet JointFlat face gasket joints are used for 150Lb valves. Male and female joints are applied for 300Lb–600Lb valves. Ring joint connections are used for 900Lb and higher pressure class valves.
9Stem DesignAll wedge gate valves use a forged T-head stem. The T-head forging strengthens the stem-to-wedge connection, allows self-alignment of the wedge, and prevents stem bending or jamming during operation.
10Wedge DesignIntegral guide rib faces ensure accurate self-centring of the wedge. Flexible wedge gate valves are available with solid wedge, split wedge, or flexible wedge designs, suitable for a wide range of operating conditions.
