V-port control ball valve is a kind of ball valve. It shuts down a half-sphere with a V opening. The V-shaped opening has a sharp edge, and during the process of rotating the sphere, wiping occurs between the closed position and the media, which generates a strong cutting force. The sphere of the V-shaped opening port forms a fan-shaped area, and with the valve seat, it can change the port area.
In the process of rotary forming, it allows for medium precision adjustment. It is a type of regulator with an angle of rotation, similar to the common ball valve sealing. This design combines regulation and switch functions. Equipped with pneumatic or electric actuators, it is widely used in industrial process control systems.

Example 1: ZDRQY-16K 25C refers to a “QV” type electric hard seal cutting ball valve with a nominal pressure of PN1.6 MPa. It operates with an electric open mechanism and has a nominal diameter of DN25. The body material is WCB.
Example 2: ZSHQY-16KD 100P refers to a pneumatic piston type “QV” sealing cut-off ball valve with a nominal pressure of PN1.6 MPa. It operates with a gas-open double-acting mechanism and has a nominal diameter of DN100. The body material is CF8.

Body: The use of a one-piece valve body design, both the dual and flange v-port control ball valve bodies are the overall side structure. The structure is rigid, making it less likely to deform or leak.
Stem: The outer circle adopts fine grinding technology, reducing the friction coefficient between the packing. The valve stem and core use a spline connection, ensuring good neutrality, large bearing torque, and effective elimination of gaps between the valve stem and core. This improves the valve regulation precision.
Self-Lubricating Bearing: The upper and lower stem is fixed with self-lubrication, providing high rotary precision, good rotational stability, and smoother valve operation.
Sealing Seat Cover: The side-mounted sealing seat cover design simplifies valve maintenance and makes it more convenient.
V-Type Valve Core: Designed with a special V-shaped incision, this core provides approximately the same percentage of flow characteristics. The incision between the ball and seat offers a shear effect, enabling it to cut and scrape fiber media, high-viscosity fluids, and solid particles, allowing smooth flow through the valve. The V-ball undergoes surface hardening, grinding, and polishing for wear resistance.
Seat: The preload with a waveform spring ensures the seal seat is always in close contact with the valve core. This design enhances sealing performance and allows for automatic compensation over long-term use, reducing seal wear.
Soft and Metal Seal Seats: Soft seal seats and metal seal seats are interchangeable to suit different working conditions.
Valve Seat Replacement: The valve seat replacement process is simple and convenient.
Small Flow Rate Accurate Control: Through the processing of a small diameter valve core with a special V-shaped opening, small Cv values can be accurately controlled.
