Control Valve Solutions for Industrial Buyers
Tailored control valve support for EPC contractors, OEMs, distributors, process plants and MRO teams—from RFQ review and valve selection to documentation, replacement and supply support.
Control Valve Supply & Replacement for Process Plants
Select for the process you operate—not only the valve you already have.
MacoTango supports control valve supply for new process duties, operating changes and planned replacements. Share your process data or existing valve information to review suitability, installation differences, documentation and delivery requirements before committing to an order.

What Does Your Plant Need to Resolve?
Start with the task in front of you: selecting for a new duty, reviewing a recurring problem, or preparing a planned replacement.

Adding a process line, changing the medium or operating at a different load? Review the valve against the revised flow, pressure and temperature conditions rather than carrying forward an old specification. Start with: Available process data, a preliminary datasheet or a description of the operating change.
Experiencing unstable control, passing, repeated trim wear or excessive noise? Share the symptoms and operating conditions so the application and proposed valve configuration can be reviewed together. Start with: Valve identification, operating data, photographs and any available maintenance history or trends.
Preparing to replace an existing valve during a maintenance window? Establish the replacement scope, installation constraints and required delivery date before finalizing the order. Start with: The existing datasheet or nameplate, installation dimensions, quantity and required-on-site date.
Know What Will Change Before You Replace the Valve
For an existing installation, compare the proposed assembly with the current valve and site requirements. Make interface differences visible before purchasing—not during the shutdown.
| Compatibility Area | What to Compare |
|---|---|
| Piping connections | Nominal size, pressure rating, connection standard, flange facing or weld-end preparation, and face-to-face dimensions. |
| Installation envelope | Overall dimensions, actuator orientation, flow direction, maintenance clearance and any site support requirements. |
| Control and utilities | Input signal, feedback, available air pressure or power supply, positioner and accessory requirements. |
| Operating function | Required capacity, control characteristic, shutoff duty, leakage requirement and response to loss of utilities or signal. |
Where a difference is identified, the proposal should state what changes, why it matters and whether a site modification or additional approval is required.
A matching nominal size or model description does not establish a confirmed drop-in replacement. Reuse of an existing actuator or accessory also requires a separate compatibility review.
Identify the proposed valve, trim, materials, actuator, positioner and accessories, together with the operating data used for selection.
Distinguish preliminary quotation information from drawings and documents that require final approval.
Show differences from the existing specification or plant requirements. Keep assumptions, exclusions and information requiring confirmation visible until they are agreed.
Confirm the required standards and editions, applicable certificate scope, material documentation and factory inspection or test requirements.
Specify acceptance criteria and any witnessing or third-party inspection requirements before order confirmation.
Identify the valve package price, optional spares, additional inspection or document charges, delivery basis and named place, payment terms and quotation validity.
Make clear what is included—and what remains outside the supply scope.
Have a mandatory manufacturer list or plant specification? Share it at the start. Any proposed alternative must follow your plant’s technical and purchasing approval process.
Get a Proposal Your Plant Team Can Evaluate
Compare a defined valve assembly and supply scope—not only a model number and unit price. The technical and commercial offer should make the selection basis, exceptions, verification requirements and delivery conditions clear.

Plan Delivery and Support Around Your Maintenance Window
Share the required-on-site date and any shutdown constraints early. Agree the supply schedule, handover information and support responsibilities before the order is released.

Review the schedule for technical approval, production, inspection and dispatch against the required delivery date.
The quoted lead time should state its starting conditions. Factory readiness, international transport and arrival at site should be distinguished clearly.
Agree the drawings, identification, packing information and operating or maintenance documents required for the supplied assembly.
Confirm which installation and commissioning tasks remain with your site team and what technical support is included.
Review relevant spare parts for the supplied configuration, such as packing, gaskets, trim components or actuator service parts.
Confirm part references, quoted availability, the technical support contact and warranty terms before purchasing.
Scope note: On-site installation or commissioning is included only when expressly agreed in the supply scope.
Send Your Valve Requirement
Share your process data, existing valve details or RFQ. We’ll review the application and quotation requirements.
Questions Before Selecting or Replacing a Control Valve
